This policy explains how Guapos Barbershop collects and uses personal information through guapos.co.il, the Guapos booking app, WhatsApp, and related business communications.

We collect information you provide or generate: name, email, telephone number, login and account details, language and communication choices, appointments, selected services, barber, appointment history and status, messages, and consent or opt-out records. Technical information may include IP address, device and browser type, app version, authentication and push-notification identifiers, security logs, approximate location inferred from IP, and site/app usage events. The booking service does not request payment-card, medical, biometric or government-ID information.
We use information to create and secure accounts; schedule and manage appointments; send confirmations, reminders, changes and service notices; provide support; handle WhatsApp conversations initiated by you; keep business records; prevent abuse; troubleshoot and improve the service; comply with law; and send offers or advertising only where permitted by law and according to your choices. We do not sell personal information or operate as a data broker.
Providing information is voluntary and generally not legally required. Required fields are needed to create an account, verify identity, book or manage an appointment, or answer a request. Without them, those functions may be unavailable.
Operational account and appointment messages are part of the requested service. Advertising by WhatsApp, push, SMS or email is sent only as permitted by Israeli law and, where required, after consent. Advertising includes a practical opt-out. You may withdraw marketing consent through the message, available app settings, or by contacting us. This does not stop essential appointment or security messages.
When you contact us through WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp receives and processes your phone number, profile information, message content and technical data under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send sensitive information through WhatsApp.
Processors needed to operate the service include WordPress hosting and security providers; Google Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Hosting, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In and Google Calendar; and Meta/WhatsApp when used. We may disclose information to advisers, authorities, courts or law enforcement where required or permitted by law, to protect rights or security, during a business reorganisation, or for legal claims. Providers may process data outside Israel; appropriate safeguards are used where required.
We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account and appointment history, disputes, security, tax, accounting and legal duties. Periods vary by record. Invalid push tokens are removed or replaced; security logs are kept for a limited operational period; advertising choices are kept so we can honour them. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to backups and legal retention.
We use encrypted connections, authentication, role-based access, logging and managed cloud services. No system is completely secure. Use a strong password, protect your device and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised use.
Subject to Israeli law, you may request access to personal information about you and correction or deletion where it is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or outdated. You may object to direct marketing or withdraw consent at any time. We may verify identity; requests may be limited where processing or retention is legally required or needed for legal claims.
Where a user cannot legally consent to the relevant processing, the service should be used with a parent or guardian.
See the Cookie Policy. Loading the booking app or opening Maps, WhatsApp or another service transfers technical data to that provider. We may update this policy when the service or law changes; material changes will be highlighted or notified appropriately.
